Live While You Are Alive

“Death is not the greatest loss in life. the greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live.” There are a lot of people that are afraid of death but are okay with existing without ever living in their purpose. To live a life without purpose Is the same as being dead while you are alive, our purpose is our lifeline it is a gift from God. The reason why many people live in complete chaos and sadness is because it is easy to settle, and as time goes by living life in disfunction without purpose becomes the new normal.  There two types of people in this world the people that will spend the rest of their lives doing what they must, and those that will choose to do what they love.  The people that spend time doing what they must are the ones that at some point in their life they had an experienced that they allowed to kill their joy and vision they once were so passionate about. Our vision is free the choice to not pursue it is expensive, it is an expense that we cannot afford. The reason why most will never choose to live in their purpose is because they are afraid of taking risks. Living to create the life that you love is a great risk, but it is a risk worth taking.

The question that we all must ask ourselves is; am I worthy of living a life of fulfillment, time and free will? I believe that we all deserve to live a life that rewards us with the desires of our heart. The second question is do you really want it, and are you willing to work for it? The reason why this question is important Is because everyone will say that they want it, but they are not willing or ready to do the groundwork to create what is possible. I am currently in my second year of being a full-time mother and an entrepreneur. My first year was a struggle because I did not feel comfortable not having to follow a set schedule or having to answer to anyone else. It was a strange feeling because I was holding on to my belief system that requires me to work hard, seek the perfect career, and the idea that you must have a degree to become successful. The moment I made a choice that I deserved to manage my time doing what I loved and working smarter and not harder my life began to change. I changed my mindset from needing to be supervised to becoming my own supervisor. I became my own boss, my own supervisor, and the employee because I understood that if I was able to be disciplined in building someone else’s dream. I believed that my vision deserved the same energy with love and passion.

Changes are difficult weather they are by choice or by force and taking a leap of faith to follow your dreams is the scariest. The reason being is the only security we have is God and how we choose to show up for ourselves, as scary as it may seem this is the best security to rely on. Relying on God as our source of strength and security is the best and the only way to endure the tests of life. The One thing I hope to leave you all with today is an understanding of who you are and a reminder that your life has great purpose which you cannot afford to let die within you. Never put off for tomorrow what you can do today, tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Settling for a life that is comfortable, and predictable without purpose is the same as taking each day for granted. I am challenging you to become selfless and share your purpose with the world someone needs you, you matter, your story will make a difference one day, but you must begin today. Be confident with your purpose and what God has planned for your life, his way is perfect and rewarding. Live while you are alive, commit to living a life of purpose we were not created to die with our magic hidden within.

Death is not the greatest loss in life. the greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live.

Pray About Everything

“Do not worry about anything; Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done “Philippians 4:6. This scripture is one that I refer to daily for guidance through all my experiences and opportunities that I face daily. There will always be obstacles to face that are out of our control, which means we all need appoint of reference to remain grounded. Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on, a listening air, and someone to rely on when going through difficult seasons in our life. The only down fall to relying on friends and family to be available to help us when we need them the most is the possibility of being disappointment. The reason why we are disappointed is due to the high expectations we set on others that are not obligated neither do they owe us anything.  There is a saying I often heard growing up that “it is not who you help will help you.” The truth is when we are experiencing hardships in life it is natural to look to the people that you have helped or the people that play important roles in your life. The first person and most reliable source we should turn to is God, there is no limit on how often we can pray. God is never too busy to listen and provide us with the answers, and comfort that we need.

I recall moments in my younger adult years when things were not flowing the way I anticipated it to go. The first thing that I would do is jump into panic mode, adding meaning to what was happening.  The more I focus on what was going wrong I grew eager to reach out to someone to throw up on them with my problems. If they were not available, I would graduate to another level of frustration.  I did this for a long time until I had a reality check with myself, I asked myself “what has complaining or being a victim to my circumstances done for me.” The truth is complaining has never served me well in any situation, it is a limiting mindset that keeps us stuck and unable to create a solution. How I was able to minimize my level of frustration or complaints was through prayer. I trained my mind to pray when things are not going as planned and accept that in that moment what I am experiencing is for a great purpose. The fear of what we do not know is the reason why this was a struggle for me at first. To trust the process is to be completely vulnerable to the constant changes without ever changing our attitude. Our reaction to the challenges can either reward us or set us back a few steps, it is a choice that we must be mindful of before we choose.

Having an attitude of gratitude does not mean that life is perfect, it means that you are in a space of awareness with the understanding that life is not happening to us it is happening for us. The most reliable and resourceful connection we all have access to is God. In the darkest hour is when we are most vulnerable to our weaknesses but we there is great strength within our lips if we choose to speak the lord’s language. The longer we settle the more difficult it is to evolve, if we are willing to accept and let go of what is not serving us, we are more equipped to make choices that adds value to our life. The behaviors that we have learned will not disappear over night but the more we practice personal development and choosing gratitude we are able to thrive. Life begins to feel like an adventure full of surprises, rewards, and life lessons along the way, because you made a choice to pray about everything and keep moving.  There is a reason in every season and every season will not be the season of break through. but in every season, there is plenty of opportunities to learn something, give up somethings, and create something new. The moment you can view life with an open mind and open arms is the moment your life will change.

The Signs Of Life

There are many signs in life some that we may not like, nevertheless the signs are there for a purpose.  There a moments in our life when our emotions will cloud our judgements, and when the smoke clears, we wonder how could we have missed the signs. The signs were always there, but when we are most vulnerable to our emotions versus using our natural instincts is when we miss the red flags. when we are feeling hurt, alone, and when we are experiencing difficult moments in our life. This is the time where most will focus more on being saved from their current situation or seeking an opportunity for a way out. The only way out of our circumstances in life is to face them and grow through them. Seeking the understanding of who you are and what can you learn from the experience is key and no matter what always remaining with an attitude of gratitude. In life every experience we face is a test of our faith, our character, and our strength. Life can be fun it and it can be simple If we choose it, am I saying that everything will be perfect all the time? no. What I am saying is that your life is determined by your attitude and your perspective of what you are experiencing. There are many ways to change and break the cycle of complicating the simple things in life, I want to share a few that saved my life and my mind.

The first step to breaking the cycle is to be present, when you are present in each moment you can not only enjoy the experience, but you are in tune to what is happening. There are moments that I can recall from my personal experience that I was caught up in my emotions and what I believed I needed that left me in a place of complete vulnerability. When we are vulnerable is when we are less present to our surroundings or the signs that are present. The reality is there will be days when the focus is needing a breakthrough which will come at a cast if we are not careful. The second step to breaking this cycle is through building a relationship with God, gaining the understanding of how amazing and Powerful God’s love is for us. The reason why I feel this is important is because growing up I knew of God, but I did not know him for myself. The downside to knowing of God but not knowing or having a relationship with God, my mindset was limited, and I gave so much credit to the devil for things that I was experiencing. In the last three years I decided to really take a journey with my spirituality and focus on building an intimate relationship with God. I was able to learn how to flow through life, how to not allow my mind to wonder, or allow my emotions to give opportunities for the enemy to sneak in.

“Follow the signs, embrace the detours, and appreciate the roadblocks along the way.”

In conclusion what I wanted to leave you all with today is that the signs in life are God’s way of showing us how much he loves us and Is proof that we are always supported. The question is are we ready to be guided on our journey, there are no easy routes in life the best route is through the word of God. I challenge you to pray about all things and be open to the constant changes in life. Give yourself the gift of knowledge on how blessed you are and understanding that what God has in store for you requires tests. Every day that we are blessed with the opportunity to experience life be present to receive all that you were created to. learn to accept what is without dwelling or taking it personal, 90% of the times we are so busy trying to hold on to things that God is working to remove.  The blessing comes when we can let go and accept that everything has an expiration date, and when that time comes, we must be prepared to make room for our new adventure. The best Is yet to come stay focused, pay attention, and never allow your emotions to lead you a stray. Pray about everything this is not your final destination this is only the beginning of the rest of your life. “Follow the signs, embrace the detours, and appreciate the roadblocks along the way.”

Hope For The Best & Expect The Unexpected

There Is No Loss When You Live To Learn And Grow Another Day.

The first and most important step on our journey to obtaining true success is the ability to identify our why. The second most important thing is being mindful of the amount of trust and expectations we put into people. Knowing your why plays a huge part in being self-motivated. There will be times when we are faced with obstacles that seems impossible to overcome, this is when remembering your WHY is important. It is natural for us to look forward to the people we believe are supposed to be our top supporters. Here is the harsh reality with this is no one is obligated to do anything they have a choice to either support you or not. The truth is there are people who would rather see you quit or fail first before supporting you or begin to even believe in your vision. I say we use that to fuel our drive to fulfill our purpose and make our dreams a reality. Break down barriers and exceed your own expectations they may not see it now but if you never quit one day they will love and grow to respect it. One of the key things that helped me is personal development, which is the one thing they forgot to teach us in school. It is the one thing that plays a huge part in our growth and on our journey to success. Personal development is us taking time to fuel our mind, energy, and perspective learning to understand and love everything and everyone where they are. This is the practice that helps us to not take life changing events, people and disappointments so personal. The reason we need to practice this is because it helps us to accept people for who they are on their level of consciousness.

One thing I have learned is that we must always expect the unexpected while hoping for the best and understand that it is not who you help will help you. Be open to changes and surrounding yourself with new people that are like minded. The only person we should and can always depend on is God. There comes a time in every one’s life when you must be your own cheer leader, your biggest fan, you must have limitless faith, and   trust the process. Create a habit of still performing our best even when the stands are empty, and no is there to assure you of how good you are. We must be that for ourselves the more time we spend reconstructing our way of thinking and being, the less you care about negative opinions or lack of support. The more energy you put into getting the job done the closer you get to enrolling them into your vision. Nothing we experience is personal it is all a part of our growth process. Collect the No’s they are the practice needed along the way the no’s are just as important and as valuable as a yes. You learn more from losing than you do winning you learn how to keep going. Always remember what you put out is what you receive, if you do good the universe rewards you with good. Support and love everyone even those who does not have the courage to support you the only competition or race we are in is with time and ourselves.

Look Beyond The Cover Of A Book

Why is that we spend more time being hard on ourselves than we do rewarding ourselves? The truth is most of us are our own worst enemies. It is easier to create stories about ourselves and assigning them to others. What I mean by assigning your thoughts is to project what you are thinking on to someone else and reacting as if this was verbally expressed to you. The truth is what we think about ourselves is not always what our peers, friends, or significant other thinks about us. There is a fine line between being productive and committed, then being obsessed. Setting goals are great but they are not for us to become fixated with. There must be boundaries and a balance that is created within us to recognize when enough is enough. The need to be perfect or be in control of everything, there are times where situations will be completely out of our control. We must be able to identify what is in our control maximize on that and pray about the things that are out of our control. Every obstacle we face is not designed for us to fail; they are a part of our growing process.

A lot of the times when things are going well in our lives, we say that God is working in our favor, the moment things shift we begin to believe that God is against or the devil is working. First mistake is believing that the devil possesses that level of power, secondly God is never against us. The prayers and the desires of our hearts God already knows them, which means that the tests that we face are all aligned to mold us. The tests are in place to mold us into the person we need to become for the level of success we aspire to achieve. Everything we experience in our life is meant to teach us something about ourselves. It is impossible to graduate into our promotion if we are unable to accept the storm in our lives as a test from God.  The words we speak and the thoughts we have will either make a difference or hinder us. No matter how short an experience may have been or how painful it was, there is always some value and lessons to be taken with you that will add value to your future.

I am encouraging everyone to have an open mind to everything we experience. Change your perspective on how you receive your blessing in disguise. Have patience and trust that all things will work themselves out in due time, the sooner we condition our minds to seeking the lessons in our present circumstances, we get better at dealing with life and not taking anything personal. We were are not created to remain in the same space forever changes are a constant and are a necessary part of our journey. Be humble always never forget where you have been in order to get where you are going. No matter where you are in life never forget that God has the final say and God’s way is perfect trust him always. The seasons will change, people will come into your lives, and people will exit. This too shall pass your only responsibility is remaining true to yourself, be sure to set your intentions on being kind and loving. There are certain people and things in life that their only purpose is to motivate us through lessons. You are worthy, you are amazing, and there is nothing or no one that can change your destiny.

Just Because Things Do Not Work The Way you Desire ,This Does Not Mean You Are Unworthy.
