Life student
/“The only true wisdom is knowing that you know nothing at all” I think we all can agree to having a few of these people in our lives whether present or in this past. what I found most ironic about these individuals is that they knew it all but somehow their life and actions did not reflect their level of knowledge nor did they know how to put all their knowledge to good use to elevate their own life. In my experience these are the people that will often ask for help or advice but cannot listen to actual learn because their pride instantly kicks in and they chose to look right and more knowledgeable than the other person versus being vulnerable and open to what areas they could use some adjustment in. We all have what we need to be thrive, but the truth is everything in life is a learning process the more risks you take and the more experiences you have the more you learn. The more we desire to grow is the more we must be willing to learn and accept some of the responsibility that we can be that very thing standing in our own way. Why do most people struggle to succeed in their personal and professional life? they do not ask questions, or they ask questions and but never listen for the answer because they already believe they know it all.
There is no such thing as dumb question and there is no such thing as asking too many questions, one of the most beautiful traits a person can have is their ability to remain humble. No matter what level or how many titles we may have achieved never feel like you are above learning or listening to someone without the credentials or level of success as yourself. Everyone has something to offer another and everyone can teach and learn from each other, the minute we lose the need to compare or compete we can be more open to sharing knowledge and receiving knowledge. The idea that if you share what you know lessens your chance of success, this is someone operating from a limited and fearful mindset there can be a hundred birds in the same field but they each have their own unique flight. The direction and flight of one does not affect the other different people connect and relate to different speeds of life, this does not mean that one is better than the other or one is less than the other. True success is not being the only person doing a significant think it is about your ability to be authentic and share your own magic with the world and accept that not everyone will like or receive you but the ones that do are who you focus on. listening and learning is a very important part of our journey to success, no matter how much you know now each day the world is changing there is something new to learn.
There is nothing worse than being smart but ignorant at the same time, there are many different levels of learning and your knowledge is not only based on how long you have attended school or how many times you have achieved the highest rank in school. There is no degree in personal development, integrity or character, and you also do not need to be in a physical classroom to be a student. We are students of life and everyday we are blessed with life is another opportunity to learn something new. If where you are, and circle of influence does not motivate or inspire you daily it is time to start going out of what makes you comfortable to learn how to be best version of yourself and finding your place in world and what you have to offer. We can learn from the best teachers, we can learn from the good times, but we learn how to develop and grow from some of the most trying times in our life or from people that we least expect. The higher you believe you are the harder you fall the same twenty=four hours I have is the same twenty-fours you all have so invest them wisely and invest a lot more time into learning how to listen to understand , not being so smart you cannot ask questions that could possibly change your life. True success comes when we remain a student of life always and remain coachable and open to change.
