Winning Season

Life will not always be a smooth sailing ship , there will be days where the winds are more severe. It is important to remeber that even when in despair life is a precious gift to us from God. We all have a purpose and we all have desires of the heart that sometimes just may not be in alignment with the plans that has already been written for our lives. Some will choose to learn the hard way and some will surrender to doing things His way. The key to be balanced in life we all must be open to learning the what not to do as we are excited to learn and duplicate on the what to do ?

Become A Champion In Life By Conquering The Enemy Within.

In this season of my life I am filled with gratitude for spiritual growth and understanding. For a long time growing up I would consider myself to be a sore loser at life. Everytime I experienced a shift or a change that was outside of my plans or I did not get the results I was anticipating i would be so upset. I would go on a rant about how unlucky I was and that nothing ever works out in my favor . I spent alot of time wishing life was easier and that everything was always working according to my plans. As I grew older and began to have more responsibilities I knew that there was a shift that needed to accur , I had to make a decision to either live my best life or or allow life get the best of me. I chose to live my best life being open and understanding of the challenges I must take on and the process we all have to go through. Everything that we pray and ask God for are prayers that are already answered according to his will for us ,we are the ones that have to get in line for our blessings.

In closing I want to remind you all that every season of our lives is our winning season weather we are experiencing promotions , financial breakthroughs, or we weather we are experiencing the storms of life. Where there is a storm there is a blessing, to recieve our blessings there are always lessons that follow. The lessons and experiences we go through are not to harm or disqualify us I like to think of them as God's way of preparing us for what is to come. The moment we stop living our lives by chance and change our perspective from why me to why not me be a willing vessel with a testimony to share is when we become true Champions. Each day we are blessed with life is a win and how we choose to live each day tells a story so what story are you telling daily? This is your winning season of challenges, love ,healing ,favor ,lessons , and blessings embrace them all with a heart of gratitude.

Defeat Is Not An Option

“Defeat is not an option” When I read this statement or say it out loud to myself I am instantly filled with energy and a feeling of victory takes over. The mind is a very powerful tool which is why it is extremely important that we are mindful of what we fill it with. We can choose to fill it with negative limited thoughts or we can choose to fill it with positive limitless thoughts. Defeat begins in the mind we have to choose victory. In everything we do we must have a thought process that fuels us with energy and hope, words are powerful and a having a winning mindset and choosing words that speak life into our daily life is key. The truth is without even a failed attempt at something new or challenging our first thought and words is usually that we cannot do it. How will you know what you are capable of achieving if you never try?

If you were to do a recap on your life and keep a mental note how many opportunities have you passed on or failed at without getting started? I will be the first to admit that this why my way of thinking ,talking , and being with everything. If I was offered food that I may not have been familiar with my response would be that I did not like It. Before I became a mother my favorite story to tell was that I had no idea how to do hair . My daughter is almost three years old and has never had her hair done by anyone other than myself. I share this as my testimony as to what is possible when you choose victory and take action. We are all limitless beings limited by our words and thoughts , shifting our mindset is where defeat ends.

To be a winner is to not have evidence of how but having clarity on why mastering the thing that you are struggling with is important. All good things take time, patience , and consistency. We all have what it takes to win what we lack is the will power to have a no matter what attitude. We waste alot of time being a victim to life . Everytime we are faced with a set back we stay away from creating solutions instead we are quick to settle. It is never too late to change the course of your life ,simplicity is key ;making the necessary changes in our life makes a big difference. I challenge you all that after reading today you will begin to be mindful of the words you speak about you and your current circumstances in your life. We must begin to stop dwelling on how many times we fall and start celebrating each and every moment that God gives us the strength to get back up and try again. Defeat belongs to he or she that claims it, we must continue to be a working progress instead of standing still in sinking sand. "I am a winner and defeat is not in me."

We Must Continue To Be A Working Progress Instead Of Standing Still In Sinking Sand.

Winning Comes Through Struggle

I Am A Winner Because
I Was Bold Enough
To Enter The Race To Thrive

There is such great irony and misunderstanding that surrounds the word and idea of what it means to be a winner. The internet definition for winner states that it is “a person or thing that wins something”. There was once a time in my life where I tied the idea of being a winner only to the idea of competing to defeat another to be declared the best. I had to really check myself and my concept on how I declared what a winner meant. I asked myself  what about the people that may not be physically capable and equipped to take on a challenge, but they are brave enough to stand in the ring with no guarantee of winning but they have one desire in their heart  and the  intention to give it a try no and no matter what the outcome is they grateful that they had the courage to get started  and finish. That is a true winner because there are many people that spend their entire life winning on paper and losing at life, spending their entire lives being afraid to take risk and explore beyond their comfort zone. It is not about where you place in the race of life what matters is that you not only entered the race, but you finished. The courage to get started and remain committed to the end is what make you a winner. Many will give up after the first attempt and make up in their mind that “maybe it was just not meant to be”, we cannot live our life relying on luck or chance we have to be bold enough to declare victory and keep working towards it.

Almost five yours ago I decided to commit to living a healthy and active lifestyle and helping others along the way which I truly grew to fall in love with. A little over a year ago I decided to take it to the next level and become a certified personal trainer. The moment I made that decision I understood that this was a commitment and I often had to reminded myself of the fact that anything worth having is worth working for and it most certainly will not come easy. I failed the test the first time, I failed the second time, and I failed just this weekend for the third time. Honestly speaking I was upset, hurt, and feeling a little defeated. In my mind I began to create stories around it. Many of us never even attempt at giving something a second chance because the stories we create around a short coming, we allow them to define us. I had to be reminded that I was not a failure because I failed three times, I was a winner because I kept trying. I will be the first to admit that in the midst of being disappointed changing our perspective to see the good in the situation can be difficult. That is why it I important to be surrounded by people that will not only be understanding but will be bold to pull you back up by the collar and remind of who you are. The moment I heard the stories in my mind I reached to my sister in Christ for a prayer and her obedience to call me and speak life to me when I was not in the right mind to do so for myself saved me from claiming a mental defeat.  As I write this blog today, I am filled with gratitude because even in my disappointment I understand that I had to experience this to give hope to another that is facing a battle and on the verge of claiming defeat and throwing in the towel.

In conclusion I want to encourage everyone reading today to begin to walk in victory, declare that you are already a winner no matter how many times you have to try you keep working and fighting for what is already yours. The key to be a true winner is in being able to accept the losses, there is no winning without struggle. The road will not always be easy but the lessons and the experiences you gain is worth so much more. A winner sees themselves as a winner before the race is over, winning begins in the mind you must believe it. Continue to show up in the area ready and willing to begin and finish the race you have started no matter how many times you fall, and no matter how long it takes. It is not about what we want or desire to happen on our time it is about God’s timing which is always perfect and right on time.It is not what happens that defeats us it is how we respond to what we experience that makes us either a winner or a soar loser. You have the power to decide who you are and what will allow to define you or be spoken over your life. I am a winner and I am winning at life because I continue to show up and run that race getting up each and every time that I fall. The only limits are in my mind, and in my mind is where I declare victory and embrace God’s timing

Restore Me

From the day that we were born up until this very moment in our adult lives, we can all agree that we have experience a lot of bumps and bruises gone through different stages of trial and errors, and let us not forget our share of disappointments. The reality is every step and phase we had to go through was all a part of the preparation process. While we have been taught and given many lectures and skills about life on how to be successful and the must do’s that we have been given.  The reality is most of those things really never prepared us for the school of life, which does require a physical degree or top skills. What it does take is being someone that is coachable, patient with faith.  The best lessons are learned through experiences but knowing how to overcome our obstacles comes through having wisdom and knowledge. True wisdom and knowledge are acquired through the commitment of getting to know who God is and building your own personal relationship with Him. True success is not measured by how much one has or how much money a person has made or is worth, it is measured by the level of peace that a person has no matter what is happening around them. Having all the finest things in life does not reward us with peace, joy, or a fulfilled life. The truth is most people will live their life chasing the ideal idea of what success and happiness should look like only to realize a few things that may be disappointing.

The first thing is many people will become present to is that they are exhausted with life and have spent a lot of time chasing the wrong things. The second thing many will learn is that a lot of the thing they desired and worked so hard to achieve were not really that important. The last and most disappointing thing many will discover later on is how unfulfilled they truly are. We all were created with a purpose that is bigger than us and not about us, while many people rely on their accolades to feel good there are people with a vision to bring forth transformation in other people’s lives which brings them joy. When we discover what our purpose is, and we are on that journey to fulfilling them it is important to not allow old habits and ways of thinking to be In control of how you flow. In purpose there are some important things we must remember such as, being obedient, being present, knowing when it is time to work, knowing when it is time to be still, and knowing when it is time to rest to be restored. To operate at our best, we have to be whole and full but if we are busy skipping over those very important steps, we will risk the chance of being out of alignment with what God wants us to do.  Building a strong relationship with our elf and God are two very important things we must all if you are not already practicing strengthening those relationships. Having a personal relationship with God is key to having spiritual discernment and knowing who you are is key to remaining true and confident to yourself.

True Restoration Takes Patience , Subtlety, And Grace.

In conclusion what I want to leave you guys with today is a task to take a moment to evaluate your life right now as it is and ask yourself who are you and what is your purpose? Have you been living up to your full potential, are you operating without wisdom and knowledge, do you believe you have it all figured out? Lastly, I want you to identify who you are in Christ do you have your own personal relationship with God? We are nothing without him and the more we begin to focus on what is important the closer we get to freedom and true success at life by being brave enough to be transparent and open minded to change.  My goal is to grow daily closer to God and have a level of peace that surpasses any storm in my life as I continue to thrive in purpose. Keep in mind always that it is just as important to rest and be still, as it is to do your part and put in the work. There is a time, place, and a season for everything do not miss the seasons by being blinded by fear and the desire to be in control. Be restored in God’s love and continue to pour into you the word and the way of which our Father teaches us to live. You are more than just a man or a woman with titles and achievements you are woman/ man of God on a mission with a purpose greater than you. When you are feeling lost  and weary do not be afraid  to ask God to restore you.

I Surrender

When was the last time you made a decision to surrender when you were faced with adversity? The issue that most of have is not knowing when it is time to let go and let God . Tomorrow is not promised to anyone and we also do not have the ability to predict or control what happens in our life. What we do have control of is how to respond and changing our perspective on how we view each experience we have. The key step that we all have skipped before is in remembering that God is always in control and has the final say and we must trust that it is always for our good.

These last few weeks has been very challenging but also a blessing in disguise. The one thing I can honestly share is that during these moments of my life is where I reminded of just how amazing God's love truly is and how important it is to trust His process and timing for our lives. Many times we are often distracted by all the things we want and what we think is important. God knows our needs and will only provide us with what we need Abundantly ,whether that is strength to get through the day, peace of mind in the midst of a storm , joy when we are broken, or giving us directions when we are lost. Remaining in gratitude is key and the understanding that without tests we have no testimony.

In closing i shared this messaged to remind and encourage you all of how important it is to surrender. The present moments in our lives whether good or bad are just as important as the future we desire. While we journey through life we must always remain open minded ,hopeful, patient , and have complete gratitude for everything. The moment we lose the desire to be in control and stop operating from a space of lack and fear we can begin to enjoy the process. Everything that we go through is a neccessary part of our growing process and without challenges to overcome there is no room for growth. Anything worth having is worth waiting for and working for nothing good ever comes with out sacrafice and hard work, ask God to give you the strength you need to endure and allow him to carry your burdens.

The Battle Is Not Yours.
