Access Your Inner Eagle

This past Saturday I attended a credit repair and home owner workshop with my husband, right before the event ended the host said if she was ever asked to choose an animal to be which would it be  “an eagle” because they soar alone and high. In that moment those words left her lips I felt like a light bulb went off in my head for multiple reasons. There are four season you have winter, spring, summer, and fall and through each season there are significant changes that must take place, in the fall the trees lose all their leaves, and, in the spring, they begin to bloom new and beautiful flowers. This is an accurate example of the stages that we must go through in each season if our lives to bloom especially when you are living in your purpose and working hard at bringing all your dreams to life.  look at the eagle this is a bird that is not afraid to soar alone in any season because an eagle understands its purpose and it understands that in order to soar high it requires less baggage. When most people hear the term losing weight, they can sometimes only associate that to mean their physical body weight without realizing that majority of the weight we carry is not our own but the weight of others.  The need to be comfortable than soaring in your purpose Is a terrifying thought to most so the choice is easy to remain in any situation that is comfortable no matter how good or bad it is.

In the last year of my journey of learning and focusing on self-healing and spiritual growth I learned a lot of painful and heart-breaking lessons. There were things and people that I had to finally come to terms that no matter how it looks to others I had to do what I felt was right to me which for me meant choosing not to compromise my emotional well-being. I understand that people will only do what we allow and if we choose to subject ourselves to things or people that does bring us joy or fulfillment, we are now responsible for the damages. There is choice we are all capable of making that will either elevate us or keep us bounded in guilt and fear, the only reason this happens so often is simply because too many of us do not understand our purpose and what it requires for us to soar. I was guilty of allowing guilt and what everyone would say dictate what I allowed and accepted from friends, but especially family members. It took a lot of praying and well invested time in analyzing myself and  taking responsibility for who I was being , in choosing me I then had to be willing to let go of fear and being attached  to the people I cared about ,  I had to accept that  sometimes love is simply not enough when  someone does not have the same intentions for you as you do them.

Although this is a hard pill to swallow when you are stuck between you choosing to live in purpose or   choosing to compromise your happiness, I encourage everyone to be bold enough to choose you and be prepared to soar alone.  This reality is sometimes we must temporarily take drastic actions in order to earn your respect from others without compromising any part of you.  A lot of the times we never really know what or how good we have things until it is gone and sometimes, we missed just how much we have inside until we cut through some of the layers we have been buried beneath for so long.  Give yourself permission to be fierce, fearless, and unapologetic about your life, your happiness, and purpose yours to create we owe it to ourselves to create and live the life we desire. We can have it all in due time it is all about how we react and our attitudes during the process we cannot wait to get our destination to be happy.  Pay attention stay wise and stay alert in all that you do but most importantly follow your heart always listen to your intuition that little voice deep within is God’s   way of protecting, revealing, and guiding us.

An Eagle Uses The Negative Energy Of A Storm To Fly Even Higher.

Walking In Purpose With Eyes Wide Open

Every Word Of God Is Pure : He Is A Shield Unto Them That Put Their Trust In Him.
Proverbs 30:5

In life they say our experiences can make us who we are today by either molding us or they can introduce the spirit to fear.  no one wakes up one day deciding to have a fear of trusting others and no one is immune to the effects of being hurt and neglected by someone we trust dearly. My question is do you believe it is possible to walk in `your purpose with an open mind and present enough to be aware of what really is. The key is to pray and hope for the best but expect the worse in any situation, the problem is most people are only open to one. On one end you have the people that eat, breathe, and think of all the negative possibilities, so much that they have closed the doors on many good opportunities. The reality is you can never be too careful, and you do not ever want to be too carefree, the energy and time we invest into people is a risk, so it is our responsibility to be on point with a method to protect your energy and space without losing integrity with yourself and purpose.

Ultimately everything that we experience in life are all important ingredients for what we are cooking, the past does not predict or change your future. What if I told you we were all assigned a great task from the day we were born? and that no matter how straight, or crooked of a path you take along the journey it does not change what God has already placed in us.  What if we all believe and get present to this fact, the way we internalize or process these things is important and does have major impact on how we navigate through life. there are many steps and guides available for us all, but some people want change more than others, and there are some with ego’s as big as a globe that prevents them from first acknowledging that they have a problem and taking the next step in getting help. Life does not come with a manual all we have is learned behaviors taught to us by our parents which they learned from their parents who did the best with what they had. The belief system we are comfortable with is what dictates how we process the pain from past experiences and creates this false reality that being fearful and guarded is the right way to survive.

Our goal in life should be focused on thriving   and trusting that all things can and will work itself out the way it is meant to, but most importantly being mindful of the energy you are putting out there we do reap what we sow. The older we get we become more responsible for how we flow through life how we communicate, who we are being to ourselves and others, and the thoughts we have. If you ever must choose between your pride and being open to change choose to put your ego to the side because we cannot grow by standing in our own way God can only bless our authentic self. The state of our mental health is just as important as our physical, emotional, and spiritual health self-healing is a choice just as happiness is our choice.  I encourage everyone today reading to first acknowledge the areas we struggle in, secondly taking the steps to heal, and finally learning how to connect with God. Invest more time in becoming present and available For God to guide and protect you, to trust but be available in your spirit to hear his message. The time we spend guarding our hearts and denying our weaknesses let us put more energy into trusting, being present, and trust that the universe is working with you not against you.  Set your intentions on purity and love, today I will allow God to be my guard as I allow myself to love, be kind and open to all possibilities and experiences weather good or bad there is something to be learned either way.

Live. Love. Sparkle

Every morning that we rise and take our first breath we have the option to be stuck in the troubles of yesterday or be great in the promise that things can and will get better.  We must set our intentions for each day to see the beauty in everything appreciate the small things because they are the stepping stones to greater things to come. Life can go by in the blink of the eye which is why it is very important to be present with life, our feelings, the people we love, and our inner thoughts.  Connect with life on an intimate level our life is too precious to leave it all up to chance. We must be committed to change and growth in our mind body and spirit. A good friend someone I would consider to be an angel sent to me from God, she is eighty-five years old was married for sixty-one years. She said to me and I quote “ I feel like  my life went by so fast I don’t think I got the chance to appreciate my husband enough or as much as I should have “ That stuck to me because it is so easy to get consumed with work , things we have to do ,bills we have to pay and  we do not give our self-time to appreciate life and all its beauty .I Say get   present with life  we cannot freeze or rewind time  but while we are living take a moment to just  close our eyes and just inhale gratitude and release fear ,doubt, and  negativity.  Spend more time-sharing love with everyone ultimately that is what makes life whole and beautiful the choice to be loving and living in gratitude. In life everything and everyone has a season and a time it’s the memories that last a lifetime. I promise to live a life creating memories, laughing more, living freely, praying more, worrying less, loving life and JUST GLOW. Be a light and an inspiration to others show that you can be happy in a world full of uncertainty and adversity. It is not about how long or short of a life you live it’s about the quality of the life you choose to live.

Everything Is Happening For You

Have you ever been in a position where everything appeared to be going great, we seem to have life under control or being in a place of comfort and suddenly there is a ripple effect of life happening? In my previous blog titled Reset I spoke about having to decide between what was beneficial to my business or my wellbeing.  I made a conscious decision to do what was best for me mentally. By making that choice I learned and experienced somethings that I already knew only this time my heart was present. I remember a time back in 2017, I had been working part time for three months and in that same week approaching the weekend of my training was in D.C. A few days before I was laid off at first, I was surprised but I remained calm the spirit of worry or fear never surfaced instead I was forced to take a moment to accept and analyze what was taking place, at this point I have two options to sink or swim. Friday was my last day and Saturday morning I made my way out to training this was not my first, but this was my best. I say my best because it does not matter how many times you have heard a message it doesn’t always register or connect until you are in a place to receive what was for you.  One of the speakers said, “clock in to your passion the same way you do your jobs” This was a statement I heard many times before but, the moment he said that I was forced to ask myself “have you been showing up for you like you should”? Right then It clicked to me that I didn’t lose my job I gained my freedom and it was now up to me to make lemonade with the lemons I had just been given.

It’s not always about hearing something new or different sometimes it is just a matter of hearing the same thing at the right time from the right person. I thought to myself that if I did not make the decision to go to this weekend’s training and, if I did not get laid off, I would not have received the message the way I did. That is where I finally fully understood and accepted that all that has accrued this past week leading up to the weekend was happening for me. My challenge and advice for all of us is to take a second to analyze the things that are taking place in our life at this moment and reflect on how these things are happening to set us up for greatness and not failure. Let us begin to use our imaginations positively let us begin to show up for ourselves, our faith, dreams, business, well-being, and the way we do our jobs and imagine what our life would look like. I dear you to clock in for you start being consistent with your actions daily, minimize our distractions, start planning Get out our own heads and just do it. Believe that we have what it takes and the resources to get there.
