Be Patient With Passion

Stay Strong
Go Hard &
Never Quit

From the time I was a little girl I always had big dreams, at the tender age of 6 years old I was passionate about track and field, as I grew older, I was super passionate about drama, music, dance. The one dream that I always imagined myself being was a writer and a speaker. Often as I got older, I pondered on how I was going to make this dream of mine a reality. Along the lines of trying to figure that part out I then became a medical assistant which I loved for a little while, until I found purpose in a lifestyle change, when I became a wellness coach and independent distributor two years ago, I became very passionate and excited about helping people feel great about themselves. I fell in love with the purpose of being in service to the world and being my own boss, I started hating my job with each passing day. I got lost in the excitement and my emotions, it was when I really started to learn what personal development was and really taking it seriously that I realized hey you skipped the most important step which was to develop my work ethic.

I quickly learned that even as excited as I was, I was not ready or mature enough to take on what it meant to be my own boss. I missed that part about taking the small steps to grow into the person I wanted want to be.  I wanted it to happen overnight instead of being where I was and being open to the fact that I needed to be in this place at this time to get there. Of course, after making fast decisions we all say I wish I knew, or I wish I waited, but there’s no need to be sorry about it that too was all a part of our journey. The thing about life Is we all are created with purpose and the tools are there for us to build them. We must condition our mind that no matter where we are it will not be forever so being passionate about it show up with purpose, we are there for a reason, a season, a lesson, and a blessing. Until we start focusing on our core values, finding our why, and what the cost of not having it means to you there is no way to progress on just emotions and fast decisions. Our why must have a high cost if we fail it must bring fear but at the same time having passion to work even through fears or doubt. Understand that it begins with you be passionate in all areas of your life they are all a part of the journey. Be the person you need to be right where you are today and be patient with your hustle, nothing can happen before God’s timing.

Time Is Ticking

A lot of the times I come across people that have big dreams and hopes that are very promising and possible and the only thing between the person and their dreams is time.  Time seems to be the issue for most people why? because we have been programed to give all our time in to surviving life and giving all our focus to doing the things that provides us with temporary stability and ignore the very things that could grant us true success and happiness in life. We become fearful and comfortable in just doing the necessary things to get by without ever truly living, day in and day out we spend a lot of time   complaining about our current situations. During complaining we develop no solution to getting out we resort to things that gives us temporary pleasure, some people resort to smoking, drinking, doing harmful things to our body because that is easier.  We make time for everything and everyone else that never truly benefits our well-being or our future. The blame is not on society or what we have been taught, it is on us to make time to take care of ourselves and to see our dreams come to a reality.

The thing that needs to happen first is finding our why, and the cost of not completing or getting started, until your why is strong enough and the cost is too great to risk it everything else will continue to be more important.  One fact that I have discovered in my encounters with a few individuals is they are unable to commit to their dreams because they are often concerned with provision, meaning they can commit to their job to the end of the earth at the cost of their dreams because it pays their bills. I completely respect and understand this but while a job is necessary, and it is not guaranteed   in any job our positions are always temporary we should never get comfortable. Work because you must but thrive to live and create the life of your dreams because you deserve to.  Where we are today is not permanent with 365 days in a year 366 on a leap year, we are blessed with 365 opportunities to create something extraordinary happen for us.

The Greatest Amount Of Wasted Time Is the Time Not Getting Started

Time is of the essence it is the one thing that once it is gone, we cannot reclaim or rewind, so it is our responsibility to never take for granted what is not guaranteed. Time is a privilege and a blessing to have, so making great use of the present moment is one of the greatest forms of gratitude.  God can only bless us with more if we are grateful for what we already have, and even when we do not have the material things the one thing, we have is life. Who is not dead line to create another day, my advice is to live every day in your purpose with passion   and determination as if it was your last chance.  We owe it to ourselves to live up to our own expectations with clarity and understanding of what your purpose is. Discovering how to share it with the world with a positive impact that inspires others along the way and brings you great fulfillment.  Time is not the enemy taking time for granted is where we fail at succeeding in life take nothing for granted, appreciate everything, work for what you believe in with no fear or doubt in what is possible for your life pray, plan, act.

Choose Action

The Key To Success Is Action, And The Essential In Action Is Perseverance.

To try is to try is to have a thought in the mind without taking action to make it happen, to procrastinate is the action of delaying or postponing something.  I shared this to paint a picture of how much these two words   are more of the same than the opposite.  Have you ever noticed that when having a conversation with individuals about a goal they want to accomplish trying or procrastinating are two common words used?  Often, they are either claiming to be a procrastinator or giving an explanation to convince that they have been trying to get started.  These two words are very common excuses most will use instead of getting out of their comfort zone and taking action.  If we are busy making excuses and allowing everything else around us to consume our time, the reality simply comes down to how bad do you want it.  It is very easy to speak about all that we want and desire for our lives but very hard to starve our distractions and focus in order to create these things.

If you are person that Is always singing the trying song you most likely never get to it, and if you are a procrastinator then you never even have the intent to try. I strongly believe it is very important when dream chasing to first be sure that you are operating from your true self, and how not achieving this will affect you.  If you are unclear on those major points you are only setting yourself up to rise for a fall, it is possible to be successful but, true success and happiness can only be present when we are being true to ourselves and committing to what really brings us fulfillment over recognition.  In life it is very possible to get caught up in chasing the picture that was created for us by our parents, and cultural beliefs that were instilled in us. We spend most of our life trying to live up to the expectation, the standards, and tradition, during the process of seeking approval we lose our selves and we lose our sense of purpose and who we truly are.  It is our responsibility and our birth rite to find our purpose and be a blessing to the world, to be in service with the gifts that God has blessed us with.

The choice to live in purpose or live in tradition and mediocrity is completely up to us, whatever we choose we must me able to take full responsibility. Our past is simply just a learning experience while on our journey through life. we cannot continue to use our circumstances or traumatic experiences as a reason for procrastination and trying without ever acting. When we get to a certain age in life it is up to us to decide to remain the same or explore the magic inside and shine. Today I want to encourage everyone reading to really set aside some time to get clear on our vision, to analyze where we are today and who we are being. Discovering why we struggle to commit to our goals, are we operating from our true self, and being brave enough to have faith in what we cannot see.  Get present   in order to focus you need a clear vision, stop leaving your dreams up to convenience, take massive  action, and be confident in your purpose.  We are not procrastinators we are amazing beings that with the right mindset, attitude, and faith in God we can accomplish everything that is for us.
