Choose Action
/To try is to try is to have a thought in the mind without taking action to make it happen, to procrastinate is the action of delaying or postponing something. I shared this to paint a picture of how much these two words are more of the same than the opposite. Have you ever noticed that when having a conversation with individuals about a goal they want to accomplish trying or procrastinating are two common words used? Often, they are either claiming to be a procrastinator or giving an explanation to convince that they have been trying to get started. These two words are very common excuses most will use instead of getting out of their comfort zone and taking action. If we are busy making excuses and allowing everything else around us to consume our time, the reality simply comes down to how bad do you want it. It is very easy to speak about all that we want and desire for our lives but very hard to starve our distractions and focus in order to create these things.
If you are person that Is always singing the trying song you most likely never get to it, and if you are a procrastinator then you never even have the intent to try. I strongly believe it is very important when dream chasing to first be sure that you are operating from your true self, and how not achieving this will affect you. If you are unclear on those major points you are only setting yourself up to rise for a fall, it is possible to be successful but, true success and happiness can only be present when we are being true to ourselves and committing to what really brings us fulfillment over recognition. In life it is very possible to get caught up in chasing the picture that was created for us by our parents, and cultural beliefs that were instilled in us. We spend most of our life trying to live up to the expectation, the standards, and tradition, during the process of seeking approval we lose our selves and we lose our sense of purpose and who we truly are. It is our responsibility and our birth rite to find our purpose and be a blessing to the world, to be in service with the gifts that God has blessed us with.
The choice to live in purpose or live in tradition and mediocrity is completely up to us, whatever we choose we must me able to take full responsibility. Our past is simply just a learning experience while on our journey through life. we cannot continue to use our circumstances or traumatic experiences as a reason for procrastination and trying without ever acting. When we get to a certain age in life it is up to us to decide to remain the same or explore the magic inside and shine. Today I want to encourage everyone reading to really set aside some time to get clear on our vision, to analyze where we are today and who we are being. Discovering why we struggle to commit to our goals, are we operating from our true self, and being brave enough to have faith in what we cannot see. Get present in order to focus you need a clear vision, stop leaving your dreams up to convenience, take massive action, and be confident in your purpose. We are not procrastinators we are amazing beings that with the right mindset, attitude, and faith in God we can accomplish everything that is for us.
