Timeless Beings

Life is one big circle filled with a lot of lessons, blessings, irony, and surprises. when we were little kids we had life and our dreams all figured out because we lived freely into our imagination creating and believing in them.  As we grew older we began to learn and take on behaviors that encourages us to think realistic with limits, slowly we lose our sense of wonder and excitement from our imagination.  In my 30 days of mindfulness challenges I really stress the importance of connecting to our true selves and maintaining our youthful spirits. Every year that we celebrate entering a new age or chapter in our life what are we really celebrating? Most people associate aging with eliminating their sense of wonder, their desire to explore, the need to be playful, or unapologetic. A lot of people live in a box that fits the image of what you are supposed to look like, feel like, and act like at a specific age, the irony behind that mindset is those individuals are consistently eliminating their sense of joy and moving further away from true happiness with every passing year.

It never matters what age we are we all must be able to laugh as much as we want as loud as we want, we must be able to take care of ourselves well enough not to look our age and living in a state of openness and a lively imagination for our lives. Losing all essence of your youth simply means living in the shadows of approval, but it is not in alignment with what we truly feel inside and by doing that begins the process of getting old.  The question I have for everyone is what your real definition of the celebration of life each year is, what does it really mean if every year you make the decision to begin existing and not living.  Along the way we pick up habits of needing to be in control of all that we cannot change, which brings forth frustration, stress and later depression.  Which with all of those being present it becomes apparent in our outer appearance, in our energy, and daily activities.  When we continue to develop a poor mental health, we create only the things that are of no benefit to our anti-aging process.

Only The Human Heart Can Live In The Present Moment Awareness. The Human Mind Cannot , Because Its Essential Nature Is To Ponder On The Past And Plan The Future. This Is Why All Wise Beings Encourage Us To Go Beyond The Mind Into The Timeless , Boundless Transcendence Of Heart - Centered Awareness.

There are plenty of ways and plenty of reasons why we should not let aging be a reason to stop living and enjoying life and all it’s beauty.   There are several things that most successful people and people we see aging gracefully have in common according to studies.  The first is practicing meditation, the second is having a wide social support system, close emotional and familiar relationships, taking a multivitamin and mineral supplement daily.  The fifth step is getting good sleep, taking on daily alternative activities, live life curiously, and lastly our willingness to undertake new challenges.  The secret is living a life of quality and not of quantity, do not waste time   chasing things, people or title, do not lose yourself trying to gain the world and approval of others.   This is some of the most effective steps of the anti-aging process, remember this very fact “youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind”. What we believe is what will promote the vitality of our body and mind.  Being negative and only having negative thoughts are self-defeating and kills our energy. Find your source and connect to your circle of life, your purpose and will to live we are time less our time on earth is not for ever but our spirits will never die.

Transformation Of The Mind Tuesday- Be True To Yourself

The most important role you could ever play in life is yourself being true to who you are created to be . The less we focus on only doing all the things that rewards us externally, the easier it becomes to connect with ourselves internally. Our true self lacks nothing niether is in need for anything the power to be one with yourself and the universe is key to a happy life.

Life's Circle Of Purpose

There’s No Such Thing As A Coincidence Notice How Every Major Event In Your Life Somehow Leads Up To The Next .... It Is All Connected.

“So, it was in the beginning so it shall be in the end”, I shared this quote today to because I had a great realization from a conversation with my mother and my husband just recently.  The conversation was surrounding how vibrant and fearless I was as a child; my mother was sharing a moment when I was a about six years old. There was a local singing competition going on in the neighborhood   which of course I was too young to enter, but I had such a love for music and singing I approached the host and I asked if I could sing a song.  At first, he chuckled and kindly said no so I stood to the side and waited until there was no one else to go and I asked can I go now? He reluctantly said yes and gave me the microphone.  I was excited and confident in myself to perform before all these strangers, I sang, I smiled, and I danced I sang a song by TLC called unpretty. Listening to this story I can still recall how I felt and how brave I was, which brought me back to reconnect with the fact that I also loved entering spelling bee competitions and everything to do with reading and writing. I also was a very great track runner that at an early age I was disciplined in coming home and training every day.

I shared that to say this that as I got older there was a phase in my life that I had no desire for any of these things, the change in growth, the change of scenery, the adaption of living in a new country and just the average teenage phases.  I was filled with so much confusion and hurt about various things that I was holding on to so tight even as painful as they were. I would say from the age of 14- 20 I was disconnected from my true self I had no real purpose or a clue of what direction and what I truly wanted to do with my life.  I went through the everyday norm of doing what was right and what was expected of me, focusing only on how I can make my mother proud and repay her for all her hard work, even if it meant doing something that does not make me happy at all. I went to school, got good grades, I put my best foot forth in everything I committed to as long as it made my mother happy and it was up to the standards of family members.  At the age of 21 I decided to make a change in my lifestyle which I can honestly say may have been the decision that saved my life and helped me to find my true purpose in life.

After that conversation of reminiscing on the past I began to analyze who I am being today and what I am doing that brings me pure fulfillment and joy and to my surprise I realized I am right back where I started.  Falling in love with writing, being brave to be a voice to others, and being discipline in a health and active lifestyle just like I did when I was a child. This was not planned but neither do I believe it was an accident or a coincidence who I was destined to be I already was once before. This was pure confirmation that who we are   destined to be has always been inside of us all along we just must put in the work and find the connection with our true self. When we can always be connected to our source the universe can guide us into our path, but if we continue to erase and go farther away from who we are the farther we go from our purpose.  I encourage everyone reading today to take a brief trip down memory lane to find what you have left behind.  Life is a gift and there are no accident or coincidences on our journey’s everything was already written and already ours to achieve. Have an open mind and do not allow anything or anyone to change who you are, invest time in your spiritual growth and always being true to what you feel and who you are destined to be. Keep the connection with your inner youth and pure desires for your life that started at the age of innocence, your purpose comes back to you once you are brave enough to tap into your true self.

Release Your Struggles And Elevate

“Honor your being release each struggle, gather strength from life’s storms, and relax into the arms of spirit”. I wanted to share this quote to remind us all that the things we consider to be a struggle, setbacks or even feeling like we have hit rock bottom, that these are just temporary moments in our life designed to sit us down to get present with our selves. Sometimes all we need Is a moment to slow down and take a moment to be one with our mind. It is important to take time to analyze how we are being, who we are being, take a moment to ask ourselves are we living or only existing, or are we taking life for granted or making the best out of life? What begins to happen is the longer we avoid our greater needs and purpose life has a way of sitting us right in a corner not to break us but to shake us up a little, take us out of our comfort zones. When this occurs, you have two choices you either sink or you swim. Therefore, practicing personal development daily is extremely important because when life happens our mind must be mature to progress forward, personal development is our foundation to true success and growth. We are all amazing beings and we all have very different journeys and struggles but one thing we all have in common is that life is always happening to all of us. We should really take our struggles as a compliment because God loves us so much that he assigned such great tasks on us.

The most important thing is not getting consumed by our struggles not forming a relationship with our delays. we can never reach our true potential until we are brave enough and completely vulnerable to release the stuff we hold on to. There is a big difference between releasing and just complaining. when we release our mind from the struggles we begin to change our perspective and become more solution oriented. When we complain all this does is keep the door open to receive a negative outcome and we remain in one spot at a standstill, negativity hinders us from moving forward.  I remember a specific time being on a team business call and in a split second the energy was shifted.  One of the young men on the call said, “I think this is a great time for everyone to open and release some stuff”, it was perfect because him doing that broke down a lot of barriers and it was almost like everyone just took a deep breath and exhaled positivity. I know that was nothing but the love of God for us   that told him we needed that in that moment and he was obedient enough to relay this message.

We Only Need To Learn To Live In The Present Moment

The reason why setting our self-free is important because sometimes we get so stuck in our heads and pride gets the best of us. We believe that if we are transparent and open to share with others we are week or just talk too much. That is far from the truth because when we become free enough to not worry about being judged or looked at in a certain light by others you begin to elevate your mind, your energy, and your spirit. Once we understand that we matter, and our story can save a life or help heal someone else we must get comfortable with being vulnerable with the world. Your story or your struggle is not your secret to keep or anything to be ashamed of. I will say once we all began sharing the whole chat instantly went from business to a feeling of relief and just fired up to accomplish new things. sometimes that is all we need a chance to release, to pick our self-up and go. It is such a blessing to have people in your life that will challenge you and encourage you to release. I encourage everyone today that whatever we are holding on to let it go be free. Remember by releasing your control over circumstances you gain more control of your life.
