Positivity Is Healthy

This morning as I was listening to one of my good friend’s morning motivation podcast he asked his listeners “can there ever be too much positivity or motivation? My answer to that is no, because I believe that it creates peace and a balance in the world. Imagine a world where everyone was negative and always angry, I do not believe anyone would be excited to exists  in such a place we need positive forces around. It is never that it is too much positivity it is just too much stinking thinking, and people whose mindset is conditioned to complaining and staying in a dark space rather than seeking the light and a solution.  The Founder of my nutrition company God rest his soul had a saying that “new solves all “. I try to keep this at the fore front of my mind because it makes perfect sense and secondly it does solve all. If you have lived or worked in a negative environment for years sometimes you get bored or just drained from doing the same things over and over. When that happens some people either begin looking for a new place of employment a new environment especially If what we are doing has no true fulfilment or purpose in our lives. When we engage in activities or get in places that the foundation is built on positivity, and purpose we are enlightened and filled with much more joy and interest in life.

 

There is no such thing as being bored or annoyed with a positive atmosphere it is only when our mind is not in a place to receive it we tend to dismiss what we need. When we are in a space of clutter, frustration, and negativity it is close to impossible to be excited when the presence of happiness is right in front of us. when we surround ourselves with people that are in the same limited mindset we remain stuck and we continue to go in the same old circle.  Until we make the choice to step out and do something different and begin enrolling ourselves in the possibility of us changing our mindset before things begin to change we will remain the same. It is important to step out of the box do the things you never do, hang around new people, go to places that has what you need that you don’t have access to daily. Change your circle of influence and when you find that happy place and peace in your mind, and your heart you will find that every day you are experiencing something new and exciting. Life can feel fun and magical When we make the choice to open our mind, heart, and the door for positivity to come In. If we practice and focus on daily self-motivation and staying engaged with positive people. Guess what? There is no way we cannot win at life by becoming a master of life.  Positivity is a recipe to create whole life success not just material, but success in our mind, our home, our health and our love life. So, I encourage you all including myself to go ahead and over indulge in positivity the side effects are feeling happy, free, love, excitement, peace, joy, new, healthy and alive.

I Want To Always Be Youthful And Have The Energy To Play

I am a firm believer that we will receive what we pray for and expect out of life and along with consistent daily practices of us being in action gets us closer each day. Every day I pray for strength and energy to keep me going and I often ask for motivation and daily reminders to keep me encouraged. A few months earlier when I would attend the gym at 5a.m., there was one morning that was filled with encouragement and pure motivation from a stranger. While we were in the gym doing our regular morning routine this lovely soul walked in with grace and she asked, “can I join you guys”. I was surprised but never the less I was very excited and assured her she was welcome to join us. The first thing that really impressed me was the energy and drive she had. Here I was trying to modify the exercises for her because she was an elder lady. She had me beat and quite to my surprise she was rolling right along with us. She said out loud it looks so easy, but it is not, but you must practice. What I found more intriguing was when she informed me that she had great great-grandchildren and I thought to myself amazing with the energy and the drive of a twenty-four-year-old. Meeting her reminded me of why I got started on fulfilling my desire for a change in my lifestyle three years ago.

 

 

Initially when you think of working out and eating well the first thing that comes to mind is how good we are going to look. I admit that was one of the reasons I got started but the most important thing was that I wanted to feel great the internally. I wanted my age not to define how I look or feel the older I get forever young Is what I want to feel. When I say forever young I do not mean I will engage in childlike activities for ever I mean I will strive to live a lifestyle that my age will not be a factor I want to feel the and look the opposite.  I knew with poor lifestyle habits I would not accomplish that I would be contributing to failing internally and externally, which could result in me feeling older than I am. If I did not commit to changing for the better by taking care of myself. Another important thing to remember it is not only about how you take care of yourself but, how you treat people, how you are as person plays a part on your aging process. If you are a person that allows life, people, or things that are minor to get the best of you, living a life of anger, jealousy, selfishness and you are not taking care of your health. In the long run you will begin to look like the things you have been through if we continue to make excuses for self-care, self-love, and committing to health wellness and healing,

 

 

Strive to live a life of love, peace, gratitude, and be a light for others in the dark. Even if you have nothing to physically share with someone share a smile, a hug, a message, it is the little things that makes a difference in a complete stranger’s life. I am not sure if Ms. Madelyn has any idea how she impacted my day and touched my heart but the beauty of that is I am sure she has touched many just like she did me. It is not that she did an extraordinary thing all she did was bless us with her presence of determination and youthful soul. It is not easy it takes practice and commitment because life is never going to be a smooth course. It is about how we handle it that makes all the difference. I dear you all to dig deep inside yourself spend some time to get to know and understand who you are and your purpose in this world. Get connected with God on a deeper level enhance your spiritual vibration. Remember we were all sent to this earth to experience a good life, but it is something we must choose.  By remaining open to all things and attached to nothing and losing our sense of entitlement our youth can remain present and our presence will be felt purely.

Winning Physically

Your mental and spiritual health are the two of the most important factors of your physical health and growth. If we are not committed to working on these areas in our life it is almost impossible to accomplish your physical and outer body goals.  Even as I was committed physically and attending the gym pushing everyone and going through the motions   mentally I still was not completely focused and I certainly was not feeling my best self all the time. I felt less motivated I procrastinated a lot the more I went through the motions the more lost I became in self-pity and doubt.  I questioned myself as a woman, as a mother, and as a wife, because I felt physically incapable to complete or accomplish anything.  That old wise saying of what you think is what you manifest has never been more clear and real to me than in that moment. I realized that the more I doubted my self and dwell on how easy it was before I had my baby the longer I was stuck in the same space mentally, spiritually, and physically.  I was week mentally and spiritually which impaired my physical strength this process for me was like starting over completely from scratch.

 

The only way our bodies will transform is when we fully commit to whole life health and wellness in all areas and taking on the first two steps which enhances the third. Naturally we are emotional beings, and when we have no control emotionally is when we struggle most with being motivated to get busy.  It is challenging we often find ourselves constantly battling with ourselves in our heads because we can be our worse critics and tend to do more harm to ourselves by rushing the process.  Rushing the process can lead to self-destruction by not being ready for what we are asking for, so when we get it we are unable to appreciate and really put to good use. It is ok to stop take a moment and restart another key point is getting around some like-minded individuals that understand you and can relate to your struggle and is determined to rise above it and you help each other grow.  First be in accountable to yourself and your true desires then being accountable to others and allowing them to be that for you.

 

I am extremely grateful that during this process of getting in the right head space, I had my husband’s love and support, mother, friends, and relatives that joined me on this journey. Together we empowered, encouraged and motivated each other to commit to the best version of ourselves. What that did for us was it helped to enhance our physical strength we started to notice and celebrated each other’s growth and achievements that we all struggled with. Especially for me it was like I was reconstruction my whole body.  it was possible because we mentally, emotionally, and spiritually encouraged each other outside of the gym, so the seeds that were planted grew in our physical strength and we were able to create a lifestyle and habits.  My question for everyone reading today is “are you feeling lost, alone, and defeated in life or on your health and wellness journey? first reclaim your magic remind yourself of how amazing you are. Secondly reconnect with your inner self and change your circle of influence, if lack of family support Is and obstacle for you get around people and build family like bonds. We are responsible for our health and healing   decide how bad you want it and commit to seeing these things manifest for you.
