Thanksgiving
/I will praise the lord at all times Psalm 34:1 gives us a reminder that praises are not only due when things seem to be in our favor, praises are due when things don’t seem to be working according to our plan. Trusting that God’s plan is perfect we learn to understand that this too shall pass, and this is all a part of the plan. A lot the things we worry and stress about are the things that are usually out of our control to focus on what is in our control is our attitude and reactions to what we are faced with. Our attitude in can be a blessing blocker, our attitude also keeps us from growth because the longer we wine and complain is the longer we take to receive the lesson at hand. Missing the lessons that life has to offer puts us at a standstill in our progress because until we learn from our current circumstances we cannot expect to go to the next level without the proper knowledge. Many will choose to sit and wish for their circumstances to be different wish for their challenges to disappear when in fact they hold the key to changing their circumstances. The answers are within us, but the complaints are so loud and the stories we tell our selves prevents us from hearing God’s whisper of guidance.
God is always near he is never too far that he does not hear or see your struggles, the problem is we are not always available and listening to hear his words and feel his presence. Every step we talk and every journey we take in life we have a body guard that is waiting for us to ask and allow him to lead the way. Our way is faster our way is easy God’s way is a process and lifelong learning experience. From my very own experiences I can remember times when I would be going through the storms and I was always asking why me why life couldn’t be a little easier, I used to believe that it was just me going through these things. I had moments where I thought maybe I was being punished, and maybe I just had the worse luck. The me today would be blessed and excited to inform my past self that you are beyond blessed and that everything you face will be a testimony and a part of your story. There is no such thing as luck and there is no such thing as a coincidence everything that happens was supposed to happen everything, we learn is supposed to help us to excel to the next levels in our life. I have not arrived I am still a working growing progress and I will always be a working growing progress as long as I am alive.
We are never to smart to learn more we are never to accomplished to still be tested, in life the more open we are to change and how constant it is the more prepared we are mentally for what’s to come. The one lesson I hope everyone will take away today is that life is not about luck, prospering is not based on a chance it is based on choices. The choices we make daily all contribute to what we attract, be careful with your thoughts, be careful with your words they hold power. Psalm 34:13 says then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies, the stories we tell our selves are often lies that discourages us. We must think big think greatness because that is what is within each and everyone of us despite what we have been taught or the obstacles we have faced. It is up to us to control our attitudes direct our energy through positive thoughts making the conscious effort every day to be happy and thankful no matter what. Always remember life is the greatest gift everything else is an accessory make the most out your gift cherish it always by living and leading by example. God makes no mistakes and his need for each and everyone of us here on earth is for a divine purpose.
