Pray & Ask Big

Keep on Asking , And You Will Receive What You Ask For .Keep On Seeking, And You Will Find , Keep Knocking , And The Door Will Be Open.

The definition of prayer is to: address a solemn request or expression of thanks to a deity or other object of worship. What are some of the thoughts that come to mind when you hear the word prayer? I think about prayer as alone intimate time with God, depending on the space I am in or current circumstances prayer is my time to confess my sins, repent, asking for help, asking for guidance and healing, or intercepting on behalf of a friend ,family member or strangers in need . The irony is many of us will only  call on God in the  darkest moments in our lives ,but when it comes to consulting with him when it comes to planning and our purpose, we believe that those areas that it is up to us to figure out on our own. He not only listens to our concerns or confessions He is ready to listen to the desires of our heart and is waiting for us to ask for what we want.  Asking for what we want is a display of our faith in how big and amazing God truly is, and we must remember that our purpose, our dreams were given to us by God. We need to lean and rely on God in every area of our life because in order to elevate in spirit we must know that there is no elevation flesh. The next level only exists through Christ. How long will you continue to suffer in silence, in fear, and guilt when the answers to all of our questions, concerns, and hopes is already available to us waiting on us to open our mouth, minds, and our heart to receive.

Today I pray that my brothers and sisters begin to let go of the desires to be in control, and begin to be delighted in God’s word. I pray that we begin to see ourselves as worthy individuals of His love and blessings coming our way. I pray that we begin to believe that all things are possible if we would have faith even the size of a mustard seed. I pray that the spirit of limits and fear be broken, and we rise in love without limits. I pray that we begin to praise God for what he has promised, I pray we begin to trust in Him and not be afraid no mortal enemy can touch what God has blessed. For God has put a plan into our minds, a plan that will carry out his purposes, I pray that we open our minds to understand and appreciate everything we have endured and will ever endure is to carry out God’s Purpose Amen.

Faith Needs No Permission

The power of alignment is perfect and amazing when God is present, the reason why many of us fail to experience it fully is due to the lack faith and not being present. Every waking moment of our lives God is constantly working things out for our good even while we sleep and especially in the moments when we need him but forget to call on him. Depression, suicide, anger, just to name a few are at an all-time high today and one of the obvious reasons I see is due to the lack of knowledge of who God is, his love and his promises. One of the most common struggles we all experience or have struggled with at some point in our life is needing to be in control and being proactive In problem solving. The focus need not to be on the problem but on the solution and in order to create solutions we must first be understanding of the fact that everything has a purpose and was already written in our life story when God created us. Who are we to question or try to undo what God has already ordained?  There are not many people that are open to the facts of life some people are more open to hearing things that are comforting than the truth. There are two types of people in the world the people that are willing to talk and the people that are willing to work, talking is always easier to do than taking the steps to changing the things we do not want in our lives. There is a great irony in life that we have been taught or should I say trained to believe  that we need the  permission of others to live a life of purpose and fulfillment , and without the knowledge of who God says we are we lose sight that living free is our birth right.

Saturday morning, I woke feeling a little defeated about a situation that has been very pressing in my life for quite some time now. Instead of wallowing in self-pity I messaged my sister in Christ, and I asked her to keep me in her prayers, and she reminded me to hold on to God’s promise and watch a video that she had sent to me the night before. The irony to that was I never got a chance to watch it that night but what I was most present to and grateful for was the fact that neither one of us knew I would wake up feeling the way I felt but God knew and the video spoke to me on every level and confirmed that this too shall pass. The gift was not in the video the gift was in my obedience to be vulnerable to ask for prayer, the gift was in my sister’s obedience to remind me and share a message with me. The blessing was in me being present to recognize God’s love and perfect alignment despite how I was feeling, not the situation did not change immediately but in that moment my faith and hope was in control. In the video Steve Harvey said “faith needs no permission “we all need to get present to who God Is and who He says we are. It does not matter what your resume says you are qualified to live a blessed and abundant life because that is what God promised us and the only thing standing in the way is you and fear.

Validation From The World Means Nothing When We Align
Ourselves With God’s Plan.

In closing the question, I want to ask is how deep is your faith? Are you still waiting for permission to live the life you were created to live? Living unapologetically is a choice that we all have the free will to make, no one is responsible for our happiness no one is responsible for our peace, and no one is responsible for the choices we make or do not make. Leaving your life up to chance and in the hands of others is does more harm to us than it will benefit us in the long run.  Allow God to be the CEO of your life, you be the manager of your attitude and your mind, and you become the boss of your actions. Life is not easy, but it can be simple when we learn to Pray with faith, have faith and work, be open to changes and patient with ourselves and the process. To live an unapologetic lifestyle is to be brave, hopeful, and to never seek validation from the world. Not taking a stand for yourself is worse than being afraid to fail, because you can feel fear and still act but to not get started is the same as not having faith or a vision for your life. Rise up and continue to show up with confidence in your assignment and your ability to master self and be true winner at life without permission.

New Heights

The idea of change is usually very scary, and uncomfortable but what we must understand is that change is necessary, change is constant, and with change growth must follow.  Doing the same things and expecting a different result will drive a person insane. In order to produce new, we must be willing to do something new everything that is worth having is worth working for. The road to transformation does happen instantly but when we commit to doing the work the results are magical and a blessing just to see how far you have come. The struggle that most of us are faced with is knowing when and how to let go of things that are not serving us, we cannot expect change to occur by limiting ourselves to familiar places, people, and conversations. All that we have always known and done have worked for us up until a certain point and just like the seasons change so must we if we hope to excel to the next level in our life. The Truth is not many people are open to change, some people are open to the idea of change but are not open to doing the work to access the things they hope and dream about. What we must identify is what is important to us and what inspires us, because to be inspired is to be in spirit and in spirit we are limitless.

Settling Robs Us Of True Success And Happiness ;
Choosing To Thrive Rewards Us With True Success And Fulfillment.

-Shanett McNeill

“Show me your company and I will tell you who you are” this was a phrase I was taught repeatedly growing up, which at first, I did not quite understand.  To be completely honest it was one of those statements that I would get offended and defensive about. I loved my friends dearly and even though we may have had a lot in common we also had a lot of differences. I believed that the phrase suggested that I was the same as who ever my choice of friends was and that I would make the same mistakes that they did. The older I got I got clear that it did not quite mean that we were  alike in all aspects but what it meant was that if your choice of friends were procrastinators , fearful, always making excuses ,having no drive or vision , that will be the type of attitude or energy you will have based on who and where you are spending most of your time. Once I got clear on that I knew that in order to obtain true success in my life there were a lot of changes that I needed to make, some were easy, and some were very hard. I had to remind myself that the decision may be difficult in this moment but making them is going to be much more rewarding and beneficial to me in the long run.  Once I step into the lane of wanting to be my own boss, I began to hang around more like-minded individuals or people that were already their own boss. I wanted to work on my way of thinking and personal development so I began to read books that were speaking about it, I listened to things that would add to my personal development, and the things that I once enjoyed watching also changed.  I wanted to grow as a woman of God, so I began spending more time with people that are on the same mission and putting myself in the house of the lord consistently.  These changes were hard, but they were necessary and played a huge part in where I am today and who I am working on becoming.

Today I want to ask everyone reading to begin to seek clarity for your life identifying what are some of your weaknesses and identifying what are some the changes you need to make in order to begin the process of transformation in your life. The ultimate power we all have access to is choice and we must always make sure that we make the best decision for ourselves, not just temporary satisfaction but decisions that will forever be a blessing and create great impact in our lives. Ask yourself what does it cost you to remain the same ? and what does it Benefit you  to be open to change  and committed to doing the work ? can you afford the cost or are you ready to receive all that you deserve. The difference between successful people and people that are not successful is that successful people find value in thriving by any means necessary and unsuccessful people find comfort in doing the bear minimum to survive.  What side of the gate are you interested in standing on? the choice is yours; your life is a gift that should always be celebrated and lived with purpose. No matter where you have been, what you have been through redirecting your mind and making the necessary changes in your life can and will take you to new heights.

Creating Space For Prosperity And Peace

Are you the kind of person that spends more time trying to figure out and be in control of every situation in your life but invest little time in trusting God? I am grateful for mental and spiritual growth in my life presently, I remember being the type of person who was always so consumed with constantly trying to figure things out on my own. Writing was one of the things that helped me to cope with some difficult moments in my life, I used it as an outlet express my emotions. A lot of the times we get so wound up with life and all its ups and downs we forget how important it is to call on God and take action to decompress and not be frozen in worry or defeat. Instead what most of us do is continue to go through the daily motions without ever taking a moment to stop and release.

As full-time mother, a wife and working my business from home in the beginning there were some days that it felt impossible to get a moment to myself to breath and regroup. Currently there are a few different techniques I utilize to get those moments when needed, writing being one of them, being transparent about my struggles is a big one for me. Sharing connects me with people that are either experiencing the same struggle or has already overcome similar situations. Not only do I share my experience I like to share what my thoughts were and my process of coming up with solutions to move forward. I find joy and a sense of healing when I share with other women like myself   to help them understand that they are not alone, and you can get back up and do it all over again. I remain in gratitude for the ability and blessing from God to be able to freely express my fears, my weakness, and strengths through words that can possibly help someone else feel differently about their situation.

I want leave you guys with a few tips on how to set your intentions on creating space for peace and prosperity in your life. Aside from expressing our feelings and thought process I committed to making time to do things for me. I set aside a schedule to go the spa every other Sunday, going running and engaging with nature, going to a quiet place to read and be one with my mind.  Detoxing and Decompressing from life’s constant battles is important, making time to be restored and pray that God gives us peace in the midst of our storms it is necessary for our well-being. Did you know that when we are exhausted and, overwhelmed even if we are eating well and making it to work out routinely there will be a minimum to no results because our mind is carrying around too much bad weight and draining situations? Therefore, we cannot let not having time be an excuse to not take care of your mental health, our life could be a lot lighter if we make it a priority to protect our mind and our peace. The more we continue to collect and hold on to our struggles there will be no room for new things to manifest and no growth. Everything in life all comes down to choices and priorities, some of the very things we avoid and make no time for is the very thing that is needed to fuel your vibration and keep you grounded without the feeling of anxiety and frustration. Today I challenge you to think about some things you enjoy doing when you are overwhelmed also, think of the ways you could make space in your life for to take care of you as a whole and not partially. Try God his love and peace He gives to us is unmatched.

Peace And Happiness Is My Priority.
