Vibrate Higher In God's Love

“Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all that he has done” Philippians 4:6. How often do you pray, do you know how to pray? Through many conversations I often hear a lot of people including myself at one point say we do not know how to pray. As I grew older and spiritually, I learned that it was not that I didn’t know how to pray, I used to allow myself to be intimidated by the examples of what prayer should be which I take complete responsibility for. I had to really get present and gain the understanding that God is not seeking perfection when we seek him, my prayer did not have to be like anyone else’s prayers because individually we all have our own relationship with God. God’s love is universal but each and everyone is on their own unique journey with the same source of strength. Prayer is our way to communicate with God, there is no limit on how often we should pray and there is certainly no crime in talking to him daily. It is important that along with just a general conversation we do set aside time to worship and connect with Him no matter what mistakes we make or how many times we fall short.

I remember times when I would always give myself reasons not to make time to worship, my reasons may have been valid to people but what I forgot was that God’s love has no judgement. There will never be any valid reasons or situations that should ever keep us away from God. The blessing is that He loves and accepts us for who we are right now and who he created us to be, and he has never left us even when we have forgotten about him. There were many times in my life that I can recall God showing up for me and I would feel guilty because I know that I was undeserving many times of his blessings. The more He continued to love me the more I prayed for Him to continue to work on me internally and externally. I learned that I had to be patient with myself and understand that I cannot judge my success in my spiritual journey based on anyone else’s walk. It was a personal experience that I needed to be present to learn things about myself, I began to trust in his word more, and I learned to be still and listen. The reason why most of us struggle through our spiritual journey is we skip the step of being patient, praying and expecting immediate answers or changes. When we pray, we must believe that it will be done but not on our time But in God’s time which is always perfect and on time. The more we practice communicating with God every day will be a test it will never get easy, but you will grow in faith and God will provide you with what you need to sustain.

In closing the most important thing that we must all remember is that life is filled with lots of trial and errors, if we fall know that we are still worthy enough to get back up and try again. We only fail the moment we stop having faith and stop working for everything that we ask God for. The most important commitment we have is to ourselves and living for God, everything else is a bonus. I am challenging everyone reading today to invest time in learning the word of God and growing closer with him in prayer and worship. There is nothing too hard for Him and everything we ask of him will answered according His plans and timing for our lives. We must always be quick to lean on God with all of our worries, our questions, our fears, and all of our plans.Dear lord today I ask that you walk with me, talk with me, and guide me daily, help me to remain calm in trusting your will and your way. Help me to be receptive to your ways of teaching and I thank you for every blessing in disguise that I experience. I ask that you continue to heal and restore me through all my challenges may I be confident in your promises that I can hold on to your peace Amen. In everything that we do, and experience daily remember to always maintain an attitude of gratitude.
