Let's Play & Create
“Play is the highest form of research” Albert Einstein, did you know that when we make time for laughter and relaxation our creative skills are enhanced? Why is that the older we get we create this false theory that we are too old to play, let our hair down, or access the kid inside. life is not meant to be taken personal or to be filled with limited thoughts and actions that prevents us from truly living our best life and being free. Surprising to most making time to play, laugh, or do things out of our normal routine is needed for not only kids but especially for adults dealing with everyday life. When we make time to play, we are more in tune with our imagination our sense of belief is at high and the feeling of fear is non-existent. If fear is absent and our level of belief is high there is nothing we cannot create, if we continue to eliminate or avoid the key to manifestation what does life really mean to us. Life without an imagination or goals is simply one existing daily with no direction or enthusiasm for life, ask yourself this can you really afford to never experience your true purpose in life?
Life has a mysterious way of guiding us but if we are so busy taking life personal and being closed off from relaxing the mind and allowing moments of play for your imagination to be free, we miss the message that was designed to guide us not discourage us. I was once like that and every now and again I must remind myself it is time to do something out of the norm or doing something that allows my imagination to be free. I know when it is time reset usually when my body is not responding according to my eating exercise, when I begin to have writers block, just to name a few the goal for me is to eliminate experiencing this by making time to be engaging freely and relaxed a priority. Making this a priority and not a in the moment type of commitment will do a lot for me mentally, physically, and creatively. allowing myself to go pass this limit is me setting myself up to be wound up and if I am not in tune at any moment I could explode. How do I practice? this by engaging in things that reconnect me with my youth and sharing it with my daughter, when I complete a great amount of work, I grant myself a break. During that break I engage in playing with my daughter and her toys, watching some of my favorite childhood cartoons with her, engaging in singing some of her favorite nursery rhymes and alphabet songs. This does two things for me it creates a sense of joy and excitement, and most importantly I get to build a bond with my daughter and spend quality time basking in her love and joy.
Being a stay home mother, it is more convenient for me to create this for myself because being a present mother for my baby is my motivation and reminder. If you are not a mother or a stay at home mother, there is a challenge that you must make it your duty to make this a priority. Taking on this challenge does not only benefit you, but it benefits the people connected to you, people are not looking for perfection from each other they prefer authentic genuine love and happiness. Before this year ends, I challenge and encourage everyone reading to schedule time to allow the kid in you to enhance your creative senses allow yourself to be free in love and laughter. In our imagination is where our purpose is found, and fear is does not exist, without fear and with faith is how we will be able to connect to our highest level of consciousness. We cannot afford to let the guiding messages of the universe be in vain by our perception created by frustration and no clarity in what we truly are capable of. Do not allow your age and failure to play be the reason you never live the life you deserve, live and learn, Play and create anything you desire.
