Be Patient With Passion
From the time I was a little girl I always had big dreams, at the tender age of 6 years old I was passionate about track and field, as I grew older, I was super passionate about drama, music, dance. The one dream that I always imagined myself being was a writer and a speaker. Often as I got older, I pondered on how I was going to make this dream of mine a reality. Along the lines of trying to figure that part out I then became a medical assistant which I loved for a little while, until I found purpose in a lifestyle change, when I became a wellness coach and independent distributor two years ago, I became very passionate and excited about helping people feel great about themselves. I fell in love with the purpose of being in service to the world and being my own boss, I started hating my job with each passing day. I got lost in the excitement and my emotions, it was when I really started to learn what personal development was and really taking it seriously that I realized hey you skipped the most important step which was to develop my work ethic.
I quickly learned that even as excited as I was, I was not ready or mature enough to take on what it meant to be my own boss. I missed that part about taking the small steps to grow into the person I wanted want to be. I wanted it to happen overnight instead of being where I was and being open to the fact that I needed to be in this place at this time to get there. Of course, after making fast decisions we all say I wish I knew, or I wish I waited, but there’s no need to be sorry about it that too was all a part of our journey. The thing about life Is we all are created with purpose and the tools are there for us to build them. We must condition our mind that no matter where we are it will not be forever so being passionate about it show up with purpose, we are there for a reason, a season, a lesson, and a blessing. Until we start focusing on our core values, finding our why, and what the cost of not having it means to you there is no way to progress on just emotions and fast decisions. Our why must have a high cost if we fail it must bring fear but at the same time having passion to work even through fears or doubt. Understand that it begins with you be passionate in all areas of your life they are all a part of the journey. Be the person you need to be right where you are today and be patient with your hustle, nothing can happen before God’s timing.
